N.E Wyoming buck

Got a nice 4 pt. hunting along the border of Wy/MT south of broadus mt.This buck was taken on the 3rd day of a 5 day hunt 20 mins. before last shooting light.
We have hunted here 5 out of the last 6 years and this is the first time we did not see any really monster bucks. This area is open sage with rolling hills and 400yd shots are very common.I would like to say I snuck up on this buck from a mile away but i cant.
Heres the story; After a lunch of salami sandwiches we decided to try a little push through a mile long bowl,my father and I to be the pushers as the day was guite warm and there was no deer movement between 9am and 3pm.My brother set up on top of the bowl ; I went to the farside and my dad closer to the truck and we made the push only jumping out a few does and one small buck.Being now about 2 miles from the truck my bro and dad decided to work their way back slowly glassing .I told them I was going up on a knoll that over looked the top of the bowl adjacent to a farmers feild full of cows and that I would meet them back at the truck.Getting to the knoll about 3pm i had only 2hrs. of light left,i glassed until 430 then i started to think about the walk back still being over 2 miles from the truck when this guy jumped the fence and to my amazement started following the fence line that would take him right in front of me.I told myself that when he got to the closest spot [about 250yds,]I would take him before he walked behind this draw in front of me.So he comes slowly walking down and just as I was about to shot he stops right before I lose sight of him.Perfect broadside shot on a standing deer. The 130 grain core-lokt bullet enterd his front shoulder and exited out the otherside absolutely liquifying his lungs he went 20 yds. and piled up.My dad came as fast as he could across the the bowl where we cleaned him out by flashlight. This pic was taken the next morning after we drug him out.
Though we did not see the usual # or size of bucks my brother got a nice 3by4 about the same size on Friday morning the last day of the hunt.True to form my old man ate his tag by choice still holding out for the monster buck of a lifetime.
For size comparision im over 6ft and weigh 285
